Single Image Sourcing
Redlink provides a special service to media partners in the sourcing of China content. The owners of Redlink have 2 decades of experience and connection in the Chinese photography circle and can source various types of China content with relative ease. Content categories range from archival, arts, fine arts, celebrity, business, lifestyle, travel to special interests. Redlink acts in one of 2 ways – a consultant role or a principal role. In a consultant role Redlink assists its media partner in identifying, negotiating, editing and gathering targeted content for licensing. In a principal role Redlink represents or owns the content and allows its media partners to sub-license on its behalf.
Features & Reportage
Redlink represents over 200 photographers and writers based in Asia and all corners of Greater China. Redlink takes pride in helping magazine and newspaper editors tap into the deep and broad Chinese & Asian content resource. Its objective is to facilitate worldwide publishers’ effort to report on China and Asia.
Many of Redlink’s feature creators are specialists in their fields. Their dedication results in inspiring and in-depth stories. Their local focus allows them to be on top of fast changing trends. Assignment Services
Redlink photographers are based in 15 cities in China and Asia. These cities are Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Qingdao, Chengdu, Kunming, Guilin, Hangzhou, Taipei, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Manila. Redlink has the ability to organize editorial or corporate photography assignments within a relatively short lead time. Its local expertise and experience in production liaison will save the client tremendous energies in trying to organize a shoot half way across the globe. The fact that photographers are locally based translates into considerable savings for clients in airfare and accommodation costs.
Production Services
Redlink acts as a producer to arrange for commercial productions for photographers, photo libraries, advertising agencies and corporations. Redlink maintains a database of locations and models/talents from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing. Within its network of production professionals are photographers, hair & make-up artists, stylists, location scouts, assistants, technicians, translators, equipment rental companies, studios and transportation service providers.
Since the start of Redlink's commercial production arm in 2006, Redlink has been intensively producing a large number of commercial shoots in Hong Kong and China. It has covered a broad range of locations including airports, private jets, sailing boats, yachts, limousines, houses, restaurants, bars, discos, offices, hotels, pools, spas, stadiums, national parks, shipping docks, skylines, markets, shops, etc. Redlink has also casted thousands of talents and models.

Catherine Lee Background
Graduated from Communication Department, Hong Kong Baptist College in 1984, major in cinematography and journalism. Worked as photojournalist and English editor for Hong Kong China Tourism Press from 1985 to 1990. Travelled and worked in Europe, America and southeast Asia for more than 2 years as a freelance photographer and writer. Established China Tourism Photo Library in 1993 and took on the roles of Executive Editor-in-Chief and Vice General Manager for China Tourism magazines until 1996. Served as Asia Pacific Regional Director for The Image Bank and Getty Images from 1998 to 2000; and as General Manager, Asia Hub for Corbis from 2000 to 2004. Awarded Diploma in Practices in Chinese Laws & Regulations Affecting Foreign Businesses offered by the China Southwest University of Political Science & Law in 1998; and MBA in International Management from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2001. Co-founded Redlink Asian Photography Network Limited in July 2004 with Bianca Fung, with the goal of creating, packaging, marketing and licensing quality photographic and literary works on Asia, especially China, to professional magazine, books, newspapers, design, advertising and corporation users outside of China. Continues to photograph and write.
Bianca Fung Background
Bianca joined Hong Kong China Tourism Press in 1993 to serve as Director of Marketing and Distribution, and took on a key role in the establishment of Hong Kong China Tourism Photo Library. Between 1997 and 2004, she joined the world’s largest image licensing companies – The Image Bank (later Getty Images) and Corbis, and was responsible for marketing, channel sales and operations in the Asia Pacific Australia region. In 1999, Bianca was awarded the Professional Diploma in Information Technology by HKMA; and in 2001, Master in Marketing by Macquarie University of Australia. She co-founded Redlink Asian Photography Network Limited in July 2004 with Catherine Lee, with the goal of creating, packaging, marketing and licensing quality photographic and literary works on Asia, especially China, to professional magazine, books, newspapers, design, advertising and corporation users outside of China.
